I have to say I will need to pass on your suggestion as it is out of my abilities. Also it has been a while since I messed with the code. I am really happy that at least one person is using this software successfully. ;-) On the positive side, before long I should have a good GUI for this, so you just push buttons and sliders to make changes... This comment box is new, since we moved Hoographer to WordPress. That is why you did not see it!!

It was good to see you at the holography meeting. I didn't see this comment box the first time. HoloPov really is unique in my opinion. I have other software which handles grating calculations, but not like this. I have been thinking that it would be extremely useful to add the ability to do RCWA calculations, and model diffuse surfaces using Torrance-Sparrow or Oren-Nayar models. This would require a huge processing overhead of course but make it possible to simulate diffraction from optically rough surfaces. It would also be a difficult programming task.
